Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Training for Furniture Cluster Peshawar under KPEC
Under the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC), an Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Training Session was successfully conducted for the Furniture Cluster Peshawar on May 13–14, 2026 at Shelton’s Rezidor, with the support of Rescue 1122. The training focused on strengthening workplace safety awareness and practical preparedness among entrepreneurs and workers.
Key areas covered included Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Measures (HIRAC), workplace and fire safety, emergency response and first aid, electrical and chemical safety, as well as hygiene and ergonomic practices. This initiative is part of KPEC’s broader commitment to promoting safe, resilient, and productive industrial environments by empowering furniture-sector entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure healthier workplaces and effective emergency response readiness.
