KPEC Conducts Occupational Health and Safety Training for IT Cluster Peshawar

The Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC), in collaboration with Rescue 1122, conducted an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Training Session for the Information Technology Cluster Peshawar at KP-Verse. The training aimed to strengthen institutional and individual capacities in key areas of workplace safety, including hazard identification, risk assessment, workplace and fire safety, emergency response and first aid, as well as electrical, chemical, hygiene, and ergonomic safety practices.

This initiative is part of KPEC’s continued efforts to promote safe, compliant, and resilient work environments across emerging economic sectors. By enhancing occupational safety awareness and preparedness, the program contributes to improved employee well-being, reduced workplace risks, increased productivity, and the development of sustainable business ecosystems in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The intervention reflects KPEC’s commitment to supporting the growth of the information technology sector through capacity building and the promotion of international standards in occupational health and safety.
